There are a number of ways to get involved:

Become a HOME OF METAL volunteer
Capsule are looking for a small team of dedicated volunteers, with a passionate interest in either local history, music (specific or otherwise) or a desire to be part of a ground breaking project, which aims to bring a sense of civic pride to the region celebrating Birmingham and the Black Country as HOME OF METAL. You will help with delivering the Open Days/research/maintence of the archive. We are looking for 1 – 5 days a month of your time, with regular get togethers.

Become a HOME OF METAL friend
If you are interested in participating but feel you cannot dedicate as much time to be a core volunteer please feel free to contact us as there maybe other opportunities for you to get involved, we are also looking for advocates / researchers / social historians / those with a specific knowledge or involvement in the music industry etc. We will meet on a quarterly basis to allow feedback and input on the project.

Contribute to the HOME OF METAL archive
Please get in contact with us if you have memorabilia, photographs and great stories relating to the 5 bands, we’d love to hear from you. Please note we do not keep any of the items, just digitise them.
